Small portions for the money and middle of the road sauces.

I'm a regular Sonny's customer so I'll be comparing the two. I ordered the Southern Trio. Woody's has larger portions and that's definitely plus. However, it seems a bit more expensive so maybe that evens the two out. However, what really made my experience amazing was our server Sarah. She was extremely polite and helpful. She was always smiling and awesome. Thanks, Sarah!!!!

Besides the poor wait staff who paid little to no attention to guests. It took 15 minutes to get drinks an a laughable 40 minutes to get the pork plates an the pork smelled bad. My husband and son ordered all you can eat an definitely didn't get money worth. I am definitely not going to be coming back the check was not worth it recommend that they learn how too cook an service customers. HORRIBLE service and food we used to be regulars not anymore !!!

The food, while similar fare to Sonnys, blows Sonnys out of the water. Portions however are smaller than Sonnys and it is a little more pricey. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. My only complaint is that the draft beer cooler has been out of commission for weeks without repair or replacement. Lets get the taps flowing again!

Positive: Very modern. Negative: Tables are too close together, and not enough privacy. Baby back ribs had no meat, but good flavor. The mashed potatoes are fake. Definitely instant potatoes, and not freshly made. The baked beans were canned with some bacon thrown in. The onion ring sauce had too much horse radish, and was too bitter. Stick to Sonny's. They may lack the ambiance, but the food is 10 times better.

Went there Friday. The pulled pork and sliced pork had good flavor but after waiting for your food, it needs to be hot or at least smoking. The portions are too small for the price. The salads tasted like they were already prepared and open on a refrigerator. Coleslaw needs some seasoning. Stick with Sonny's there are not that far from there.

Pretty good BBQ overall. I used to eat at a Woody's across the street ten years earlier that was closed and replaced by a bank. This Woody's is a bit similar. My wife and ordered a sampler platter and overall were pretty happy with it. Ribs were good as were most of the other meats on the platter. Having said that I could have eaten the whole platter myself and frankly one of my biggest issues when I go out to eat is leaving full. Service was decent overall. My overall opinion about the restaurant was that it wasn't jaw dropping great but not bad. If you can find the coupons they offer intermittently in the local newspapers/coupon books it's worth stopping in.

This place is amazing. My family and I go every Sunday. Their wings, chicken, ribs and pulled pork are the best. I have been to plenty of BBQ places trying to find better food and I can't. The owners are always nice and so are the employees. Great place to eat!
